Supporting the WAVE Foundation

Jeanette Stofleth

broken image

Jeanette Stofleth, a singer in the musical duo The Acoustics, writes and records her own songs in Seattle, Washington. When she’s not busy creating music, Jeanette Stofleth is actively involved in raising awareness and funds for the Women Against Violence Everywhere (WAVE) Foundation.

To provide grants, educational opportunities, and awareness events, the WAVE Foundation relies heavily on the support of donors and volunteers. Donors may either mail a check or submit a donation online. Donors can also submit a gift in honor of or in memory of a loved one.
In addition, individuals are encouraged to donate money in support of riders and teams participating in Cycle the WAVE, a fundraising event. To do this, simply enter the name of a team or individual participating in the event and select the donation option.
For hands-on involvement with the WAVE Foundation, volunteers are welcome. Every volunteer position is part-time and offers flexible scheduling to accommodate volunteers’ schedules.
Most volunteer roles are available during the WAVE Foundation’s annual events, including Raise Your Glass and Walk a Mile. However, the biggest need for volunteers occurs around Cycle the WAVE, which operates with the help of more than 300 volunteers. For more information, visit thewavefoundation.org.
